Vath Fight for non members/Good and Evil Reputation

The new release has been released.  First of all, non members can /join stalagbite to finally have their chance to kill Vath and Stalagbite, and you get to see awesome cutscenes before and after you kill them.  Once you’ve finished killing them, you will be in the tavern, where you can talk to Snowbeard to replay every cutscene from the Dwarfhold.

Note: When you go to fight Vath, you will see Vath and Stalagbite.  Make sure you attack Stalagbite first, it will highly reduce your damage when fighting Vath, but if you attack Vath first, Stalagbite will just stomp you which will kill you in one hit.

Also, you can now start gaining reputation for Good and Evil factions.  Talk to King Alteon to do quests that will raise your Good reputation.  Talk to Gravelyn to do quests that will raise your evil reputation.  Also, there are new reputation shops, both filled with 24 items, where you can buy new good and evil items, though most items require a certain rank with that faction.

Fun fact: All the good reputation items were drawn by J6, while all the evil reputation items were drawn by Miltonius.

New Moon Shop

To celebrate Apollo 11 day, AQ Worlds has opened a Moon Shop in Battleon that will be here until Monday.  Unfortunately, all the good items are ACs =/.  Anyway, here are the items you’ll find in the shop:

Battleon (and Shadowfall) are saved!

Thanks to all the heroes that were at the live event yesterday, Battleon and Shadowfall are saved.  For anyone that missed the event, you can go to the area where the event took place by typing /join tilt.  For anyone that did save the towns, thanks for saving me. =)

Also, there is a new house available to buy from Centaur 21 called a Keep.  It has two stories, and a moat!

Housing/Battleon Teleportation

*AQ Worlds hobo percentage decreases by 99%*  Go to /join buyhouse and talk to the Centaur 21 housing agent to buy your very own house.  Choose from four different houses:  A cottage, or if you’re a member you can buy a tudor, villa, or even a haunted house.  Once you’ve bought your house, you can customize it with over 120+ items.

In other news, the teleportation was a sucess…sort of.  Battleon was teleported and safe from the meteors, but it was teleported to the wrong place:  Right above Shadowfall.  If you missed seeing the teleportation of Battleon, you can still see it by going to the main battleon area, and clicking on the Town Moved button on the right side of the screen.

Save Chuckles

The first step in saving Chuckles has finally arrived.  If you see someone with the Chuckles’ Skull pet, you can get a quest to save the skull of Chuckles by talking to death.  And if you click on the Chuckles’ Skull pet, it has an awesome laugh. =D

Live Mini-wars

Starting after today’s release, mini-wars will be able to happen anywhere at any time, and can last anywhere from a few minutes to several days.  There will be a war meter that shows your progress in the war, and a defender’s shop where you can get reward items.  If you get a message saying there’s a war starting, go to Battleon and talk to Twilly, he’ll tell you what to do.

Summer Break Shop

There will be a Summer Break Shop which will have the graduation-themed items you’ve all been waiting for.

Book of Lore and Chaos Valley updates

The Book of Lore is being updated with all the newest quests, cutscenes, and questing areas.  Note:  May not be completed until Tuesday.

Stats

Stats are very close to being complete.  There will possibly be a member-only testing server for members to test and balance the new system.  (With stats almost finished, PvP is not far behind.=))

New Tower of Relativity and Hydra release

First of all, the Tower of Relativity, along with every other area of Chaos Valley, is now available to all players.  You can get there by typing /join relativity.  But before you can finish the quests there, you’ll need to finish the new Renn and Zio quests.

The first Renn and Zio quests is called, Some Assembly Aquired, to finish this quest, click Renn or Zio, and do the Runix Cube minigame.  If you can’t solve the puzzle, click the button that says Solve to have the puzzle solved for you.

The second quest is called, Teleporter Report, to finish it, simply go to the room with the teleporter.

The third quest is called, Disguise!, to finish it, kill Cyclops Raiders until you have eight cloth scraps.

The last quest is called, To-Go Box, to finish it, go to Faerie by typing /join faerie, and kill sneevils until you have four cardboard boxes.  After this quest, you will go to a cutscene that can also be accessed by typing /join sneek.

The first Tower of Relativity is called Find the Key! (Part one), which you can start by going to the first note on the door.  To finish this quest, you need to keep fighting the cyclops raider next to the door until you get the key to unlock the door.  Once you have it, finish the quest and click proceed.

The next note on the door will give you the quest, Find the Key! (Part two).  To finish this quest, keep killing Fire Imps until you have six keys to unlock the door.  After you have the keys, finish the quest and click proceed.

After the second quest, keep following the path until you reach a room where you must choose to go left or right, go right to get to the final quest.  Go up to the big portal to get the last quest.  To finish this quest, keep killing the Head Gargoyle until he drops the key to the portal.  Once you get the key, go to the portal to see a funny cutscene (also accessible by typing /join runix) that shows you confronting Escherion.

After the cutscene, you will find yourself back at Mobius.  Talk to Renn or Zio to go to Lake Bonfire (also accessible by typing /join hydra) and start the final quest of this release.

You can get here any time by typing /join hydra.  Click the exclamation point above the bonfire to start The Lake Hydra quest.  To complete this quest, you will need to destroy the three rune shard with three hydra teeth each.  To get the hydra teeth, keep going right until you reach the hydra and kill it until you have nine hydra teeth.  Then, go up to each rune shard and destroy them by clicking the X that appears three times for each of them.

New Release

The new release is here and it’s awesome!  Sixteen new quests, new enhancements, new emotes, and new hairstyles have arrived!

The quests

You can start the quests by going to mobius and talking to Renn the Rune Warrior if you are good, or Zio the Illusionist if you are evil.  Once you are finished with the quests in Mobius, you can move on to Faerie, and then, if you are a member, you can go to the ruins.  The ruins should be available to everyone next week.

The enhancements

Now at Yulgar’s Upgrade Enhancement shop, members can enhance their weapons up to level 17.  Unfortunately there are no new non member enhancements in this release, but hopefully AE will get some soon.

The emotes

The new emotes are /airguitar, /facepalm, /cheer, /salute, and /stern.

The hairstyles

Go upstairs to the dressing room in Yulgar’s inn to try out the two new hairstyles.
